Representatives from 27 local non-profit organizations gathered at DC Bar and Grill to accept $49,125 in grants at the Fountain Hills Community Foundation’s 2022 Gifting Presentation. The event was held on March 23, just prior to the annual membership meeting and election of directors.
The funds were generated from the 2021 Flutter at the Fountain fundraiser, which was held in November and raised $50,000.
“Our Gifting Committee received more than $104,000 in grant requests this year,” FHCF Board President Dori Wittrig, said. “While we’re extremely proud we were able to gift $49,125 to our non-profit groups this year, it’s clear we have more work to do.”
