Flutter at the Fountain adapts to changing protocols with innovative new ways to keep the party going on November 7.

Times are different and people are adapting, as have our fundraising events. The Fountain Hills Community Foundation’s mission focuses on how can we take care of our community, and this year, that means thinking outside of the box.

On November 7, the one-of-a-kind aluminum butterflies that have been transformed by our selection of juried artists will make their debut to Foundation guests. Flutter at the Fountain ticket holders will have exclusive access to the Community Garden where they will not only be able to see the entire collection of beautiful butterflies in a perfect natural setting, but they will also receive a swag bag with tickets to special deals at local restaurants.

Following the garden experience where guests will witness the magical metamorphosis of our butterflies, we are excited to provide our visitors with a safe and exciting way to continue enjoying the afternoon. What better way than stepping into your favorite local hangout to continue your online bidding with friends while supporting our local establishments?

As we continue to button up the details, one thing is certain – Fountain Hills restaurants need our support. Our favorite haunts are facing a new and changing landscape as our nation maneuvers through the COVID pandemic.

Through conversations with local restaurant owners, we have devised a plan to provide Flutter attendees with a ticket that entitles them to a special drink and/or appetizer combo as part of their admission to Flutter at the Fountain. Our hope is that not only will patrons keep the party alive in a masked, socially distanced manner, but the restaurants will benefit from an influx of patrons. It’s a win-win!
