When it comes to navigating the complex world of estate planning, it’s good to have someone like local attorney Lee Holmes setting your sails.

Lee practiced as a CPA before pursuing her law degree. The legal research she did during her master’s in taxation studies led her to pursue a law degree; her current law practice concentrates in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust and Estate (probate) Administration, and Real Estate. She is licensed in Illinois and Arizona and has an office in Fountain Hills.

“I use all of my education and prior practice area to do what I do now, and I like it because I can help people,” she said. “I work with the elderly as well as everyday moms and pops. I want to make sure that everything is organized so that when they’re gone, there’s a diagram for family members to follow.”

Formerly an Illinois resident with four adult children, Lee moved to Fountain Hills in 2020 to be closer to family. Her brother, Daniel Levato, has lived in Fountain Hills since 1986 and is a contractor and former restaurant owner. Her mother currently lives in an Alzheimer’s care facility in Fountain Hills so she can be near “her” mountains.

“Fountain Hills is the best place I could’ve moved,” she said. “I love the people. And every morning I wake up and it’s like looking at a postcard.”

“Lee has been the presenter for the last two Fountain Hills Community Foundation charitable planning seminars and does a wonderful job guiding participants through complex information and answers questions in an easy-to-understand manner,” Dori Wittrig, FHCF President, said. “We are fortunate to have someone with her expertise serving the residents of Fountain Hills.”

Currently, Lee works for Holmes Law, PLLC alongside Chester Yon at 13253 N La Montana Dr., STE 102. Those who are interested in learning more can call the office (480-837-1421) or email her at ladylawyer4@yahoo.com.
