Grant Process

About the Grant


Throughout the year, the board will conduct fundraising activities to secure donations that will benefit the Community.

Each year, the Foundation may award grants to:

  • Various non-profit groups as defined in the Mission Statement
  • An annual Key Community Project, defined as a significant community effort to be a shared fundraising effort with one or more local organizations.


2024 Community Foundation Grant Application

Applications open June 1 to June 30 2024.

Organizations in Fountain Hills and the surrounding area with a valid tax identification number and 501(c)3 status are invited to request grant funding from the Fountain Hills Community Foundation. The maximum grant amount is $5,000.

The Grant award must be spent within twelve months of acceptance.  If the organization receives funding, we ask that a representative of the group attend the FHCF Giving Day, to be held in early October. The organization will make a brief presentation at the award ceremony on how the funds will make a difference to the organization and our community. The organization will also give a follow-up report on how money was spent and discuss the accomplishments of the grant award.
