The Fountain Hills Community Foundation is kicking off its 2021 Giving Season by accepting grant applications beginning January 15 through February 28, 2021. Applicants can apply directly online here.

The FHCF mission is to build a legacy in Fountain Hills and the surrounding communities by investing in nonprofit organizations whose work improves the lives of our youth, seniors, families, and community. It is designed to assist with funding for educational, cultural, and humanitarian nonprofit organizations and projects that are seeking grants to help them grow and thrive, a mission made even more critical as the Covid-19 pandemic continues.

In January of 2020, the Fountain Hills Community Foundation launched its revival in hopes of carrying on the rich 25-year history of giving that began as the Sunridge Foundation. With a new board established, the Inaugural Flutter at the Fountain event was launched in November where $40,000 was raised, allowing FHCF to continue supporting local non-profits in Fountain Hills and the surrounding communities in 2021.

While the pandemic has placed an economic hardship on many, there is good news for those who have the financial ability to give. As part of the CARES Act, charitable giving in 2020 allows for a tax-deductible charitable contribution of $300, even for those who do not itemize their taxes. Please consult with appropriate professional regarding all donations and liabilities,

All monies received will be disbursed in the 2021 Gifting Season. You may send your contribution by year-end to: Fountain Hills Community Foundation, Inc., PO Box 18254, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268, or make a donation here.
