So Many Ways to Support Your Community and Your Business!
The 2nd Annual Flutter at the Fountain is around the corner, and is poised to create even more energy and opportunities for local nonprofit groups and businesses in 2021.
“This second event is designed to fully celebrate all the generous donors and sponsors to our organization that make our annual Grant and Gifting Season so successful.” says Fountain Hills Community Foundation President, Dori Wittrig.
“In our second year, more people understand the event as well as the public exposure of the butterflies that will be on display throughout October in various businesses around town. We have some of the most generous Sponsors, and we want to reward them for stepping up and being the first to donate to the good works of the Foundation.”
Throughout October, the beautifully crafted butterflies, created by local artists, will be on display in Sponsor businesses and restaurants around town. Wittrig notes that at each location, a brochure detailing the locations to see butterflies will be available, further promoting the Sponsors.
Then, on the first week-end of November, the 2nd Annual Flutter at the Fountain Event will take over the Community Garden.

On Friday, November 5th, there will be a VIP Reception for all Donors, Sponsors and Artists in a beautiful evening setting at the Garden. This will be a catered affair with live music, an auction of select items and an opportunity to talk with the artists who created the Butterflies. Among the auction items for the evening is a Sunset Helicopter Flight in the area of the Salt River Wild Horses, plus a Cocktail Party for 8 at Casa Mariposa, the stunning butterfly inspired home of Dr. and Mrs. Zung Fu Li in the Crestview neighborhood. The home features 360 degree views of the Valley of the Sun, and the architecture of the home is a marvel of butterfly inspiration.
“So far, our Sponsor list is becoming a Who’s-Who of Fountain Hills businesses, so there will be some great networking opportunities as well,” adds Wittrig.
Then, on Saturday, November 6th, the Butterflies will be available from 11 am to 4 pm in the Community Garden for public viewing. Tickets for this event are $45, and children under 12 are free. The ticket admission also provides a special treat for attendees: They will receive a commemorative lanyard and Butterfly lapel pin that will allow access to the 2nd Annual Pub Flutter, a pub-crawl style event where local restaurants offer special pricing for attendees from noon to 5:00 pm.

Restaurants are offered an opportunity to participate by donating a special menu item to Pub Flutter guests.
