Butterflies ready for distribution
On Wednesday June 24, 30 aluminum butterflies began their journey into works of art for the inaugural Flutter at the Fountain fundraiser.
Thanks to the hard work of artist Brian Schader, four different sizes of aluminum butterflies were manufactured, mounted, and distributed to 26 juried artists.
Over the next couple of months, artists will give the butterflies a personality through their talent, transforming them into works of art to be auctioned off at our fundraiser, currently scheduled for early November.
Please follow us on Instagram @FlutterattheFountain to see updates and follow the butterflies’ progress. Members of both the fundraising committee and Board of Directors were on hand to welcome the butterflies to Fountain Hills.
