The 2nd Annual Flutter at the Fountain is Fountain Hills’ most unique and exciting fundraiser of the year. Although last year’s inaugural event had to be scaled back to accommodate the pandemic protocols, more than $40,000 was still raised for the Fountain Hills Community Foundation and distributed to local nonprofits.

This year promises to be even more successful and fun. Thirty-three aluminum butterflies have once again been transformed by local artists into beautiful works of art, ranging from 36” to 12,” and will be up for adoption beginning October 10 through the same online silent auction platform as last year. It also includes the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for one of the 36” butterflies, Fountain Flutter by Vanessa Davisson.

The auction finale and raffle drawing will still culminate following the Garden Party on November 6 from 11-4 pm at the Fountain Hills Community Garden. Tickets are $45, 12 and under are free. This year, guests will be able to roam the garden at their leisure, while admiring the butterflies first-hand. Unlike last year, we will be able to offer treats like a mimosa bar and Kona ice for the kiddos, vendor booths, and unlimited interaction.

As with last year, once the Garden Party is over, guests can use their ticket to enjoy local restaurants as part of our Pub Flutter experience. Participating restaurants will offer specials for Flutter attendees to enjoy after the Garden Party while awaiting the results of the auction and raffle.

The most exciting addition to the festivities will be the VIP Sponsor and Donor party on the evening of November 5. A gorgeous evening under the stars is planned at the Community Garden, with live music, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and a live auction of one-of-a-kind experience items. Sponsors of Flutter will have an opportunity to meet the artists in person and pick out their very own version of a mini butterfly for their collection.

FHCF looks forward to seeing everyone for this innovative fundraiser to benefit all nonprofits in our area and continue their 26-year tradition of serving our community.
