Fountain Hills residents interested in supporting their community and area nonprofit organizations are encouraged to become members of the Fountain Hills Community Foundation (FHCF) during the organization’s Fall membership drive.

Membership dues are used to grow the community fund, a portion of which is distributed annually to local nonprofit organizations. Endowment funds and valuable estate planning tools are also available for those who wish to leave a legacy in the community. Since 1995, the FHCF has distributed more than $1.3 million to area nonprofit organizations. Funding is collected through fundraisers and member donations. One of FHCF’s key fundraisers is the popular Flutter at the Fountain, scheduled for April 12-14, 2024.

Various membership levels are available for an annual contribution including Friends of the Foundation ($100), Benefactor of the Foundation ($250), Patron of the Foundation ($500), and Flynn Society Members of the Foundation ($1,000).

The Flynn Society is named after founder and Fountain Hills philanthropist, Jim Flynn. These members enjoy several outings during the year offering social and networking opportunities, as well as a chance to visit grant recipient groups such as the Fountain Hills Theater and Reigning Grace Ranch.

Memberships can be secured through the FHCF’s secure online giving portal at https://fountainhillsgives.com/membership where members can elect to pay their annual dues in one lump sum or in monthly increments through a sustaining membership . A membership form is available for download for those who wish to pay by check.

The Fountain Hills Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization established in 1995 as the Sunridge Foundation.
